We are seeking an exceptional Senior/Principal Network Protocol Development Engineer who will drive the development of our advanced network traffic analysis and deep packet inspection systems. This role combines deep technical expertise in network protocols with innovative software engineering to create cutting-edge solutions for telecommunications traffic analysis and optimization.

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable software components for network traffic analysis and monitoring systems, focusing on real-time processing and optimization
  • Develop and optimize advanced DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) algorithms and tools for processing massive-scale network traffic
  • Architect and implement real-time protocol identification and traffic classification mechanisms with high accuracy and low latency
  • Lead the development of innovative solutions for network performance optimization and security monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, security specialists, and data engineers, to ensure comprehensive solution design.
  • Drive technical excellence in network protocol analysis and traffic processing across the organization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing best practices for network-related software development.
  • Conduct performance testing and optimization of network analysis systems at scale.
  • Contribute to the architectural decisions for next-generation network analysis platforms

  • 4-8 years of software engineering experience in telecom or network-related domains
  • Strong programming expertise in C/C++ and proficiency in Python
  • Comprehensive understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SIP) and protocol stack implementations
  • Hands-on experience with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) techniques and tools
  • Strong background in network traffic analysis and optimization
  • Experience with packet capture and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump)
  • Proven track record of developing high-performance network analysis software
  • Solid understanding of telecom and ISP network architectures
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and system-level programming.
