As a Virtualization Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our virtualization infrastructure. This role involves building and configuring systems, administering environments, and optimizing performance to meet business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated with the latest technologies to ensure our systems run efficiently and securely.

Manage and maintain the virtualization infrastructure, including server hardware and hypervisors.
Build, configure, and patch Nutanix, Hyper-V, and VMware virtualization environments.
Administer and manage Office 365 and Microsoft Windows environments.
Perform server provisioning, deployments, and migrations across virtualized environments.
Develop and implement strategies for virtualization infrastructure optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement virtualization solutions that align with business requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest virtualization technologies and industry best practices.
Document virtualization infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for virtualization environments, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing virtualized environments.
In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of networking, storage, and server technologies in virtualized environments.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are desirable.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
