Regulatory Specialist (KOR/JP)

We are seeking a Regulatory Specialist I to join our authoring team based in Sunway. In this role, you will address business queries related to safety data sheets and hazard communication for Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, and countries in South East Asia.

- Author safety data sheets (SDS) for Asia Pacific countries.
- Manage & coordinate day-to-day SDS authoring activities across the team according to priorities.
- Own processes and/or activities related to authoring SDS in SAP systems.
- Address hazard communication-related queries from the Ecolab business and customers in a timely manner.
- Classify products according to the Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and provide guidance on classification to the business.
- Participate in internal projects and business-related meetings.
- Develop and implement processes, efficiency tools, policies, and strategies to ensure an efficient SDS authoring process is in place.
- Work with stakeholders to support business queries and leverage processes to meet deliverables.
- Manage small to medium regulatory projects.
- Support leadership with special projects and personnel management.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a diploma.
- At least 2 years of work experience in regulatory or lab environment with exposure to SDS.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Mandarin, both speaking and reading.
- Good data management skills, including attention to detail.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
