This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of purchased electronic components (passive components like capacitor, resistor, ferrite bead; ICs like DC/DC, PM IC; Oscillator units and Oscillators; etc. ) from global suppliers and for developing supplier capabilities to meet business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and supplier excellence across the supply chain.

•    Responsible for electronic components (passive components like capacitor, resistor, ferrite bead; ICs like DC/DC, PM IC; Oscillator units and Oscillators; etc. ) and act as a technical leader.
•    Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate, qualify, and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and applicable quality systems;Monitor supplier performance metrics (LAR, RPPM) and drive corrective actions;Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier-related quality issues.
•    Supplier Development: Identify and implement initiatives to improve supplier processes, yield, reliability, and delivery performance;Lead or support supplier process qualifications and capability assessments; Train and coach suppliers on quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Lean/Six Sigma.
•    Database management: Maintain database of electronic components. 
•    Supplier change management: Review supplier Part/Product/Process Change Notifications (PCN), End of Life (EoL) notifications. Work with R&D to qualify the replacement parts.
 

•    7 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree. Major in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials or equivalent. 
•    Experienced in supplier quality engineering or supplier development engineering.
•    Strong understanding of electronic components (e.g., semiconductors, passives, connectors, PCBs) and the manufacturing processes.
•    Good knowledge in quality and semiconductor industry standard, like ISO9001, AEC-Qxxx, MIL and JEDEC relevant standard.
•    Proficient in quality and engineering tools/methods, like 8D, CoQ, FMEA, 6Sigma, Deming Cycle. 
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
•    ASQ CSSGB, CSSBB, CSQP, and Reliability Engineer certification is a plus.
•    Proficient in working with MS office. Working experience in Power BI and/or Oracle Agile Product Lifecyle Management system is a plus. 
•    Understanding of PCBA process and/or mechanical components is a plus.
