MRO Buyer

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. This role requires extensive knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze and manage supplier relationships to ensure the highest level of service and value for the organization.

Plan and conduct procurement activities for supplies, equipment, and services according to organizational requirements.
Obtain and analyze bids, proposals, and recommendations from suppliers.
Follow up on procurement requests to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain close coordination with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate procurement needs.
Prepare procurement documents, contracts, and agreements as needed for effective negotiations.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues related to supplier performance.
Report monthly on procurement activities and savings achieved.
Analyze market trends and negotiate contract terms to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
Conduct needs assessments and communicate specifications to suppliers to ensure they align with organizational standards.
Ensure quality standards are maintained and that procurement processes follow organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and practices.
Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
