We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sales Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team while fostering relationships with clients to drive sales growth.
1. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise in product demonstrations and presentations.
2. Prepare and deliver engaging technical presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing product features and benefits.
3. Conduct product installations and provide hands-on training and support for customers post-sale.
4. Manage the sales pipeline by responding to client inquiries, preparing quotations, and following up on leads.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and market developments to effectively position our offerings.
6. Develop and nurture relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
7. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide customer feedback and insights for product improvements.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering role.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, product specifications, and technical sales processes.
4. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and technical sales tools.
